The YouTube Downloader is an awesome application I use to extract videos from YouTube. Not only does this application allow you to download the video but, it also converts it to any other video friendly format i.e. MP3, MP4, WMV and AVI.
I found this app most useful when you want to beef up your software or technical training with “how-to” videos. For example; Microsoft has a Microsoft Office 2013 YouTube channel with a full library of video tutorials on each Office application. You can use this app and download the actual video file to embed into a PowerPoint or eLearning course.
Keep in mind that you can always link directly to YouTube videos from your PC but, by downloading the file you won’t be subject to WiFi availability or reduced learning experience due to long buffering times when streaming.
How to Use it?
Using the app is the easiest thing ever.
- Go to http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/ and download the YouTube Free Downloader.
- Install it.
- After install open the application.
- Find the video you want from YouTube.com
- Copy the link and paste it on the screen below
That’s it, very simple and quick process!
