iTunesU: Where were you when I was 12!

iTunes

I love technology but, it’s just not fair.  I remember being 12 and having to spend so many hours researching content for my school projects while traveling many miles between bookstores and libraries to find what I needed.  Now, imagine having complete access to every media library at every major university in the world! Download and Create Content

iTunes U Course manager also gives teachers the ability to integrate their own documents as part of course curriculum, as well as content from the Internet, hundreds of thousands of books on the iBooks Store, over 750,000 materials from
existing iTunes U collections, or any of the more than one million iOS apps available on the revolutionary App Store℠.

The Future of eLearning

I truly think this has incredible potential for corporations that would like to save tons of money in the future.  For example; training departments could offer their materials and media through iTunesU and eliminate costly implementations and maintenance fees associated with a full fledged Learning Management System (LMS).  Surveys and exams could be delivered through existing SharePoint sites in a company or external services such as SurveyMonkey.  Needless to say iTunesU and the future of web based learning technologies is truly exciting.
